Best Team Partners
Community suggestions for team synergy. Captain America and Hulk pair well with Star-Lord in the recorded launch notes.
Start a team with Star-Lord →Where They Fit on Your Team
Star-Lord is the team's anchor zoner: he keeps the shared life bar safe from range while point characters do the risky work. His gun pressure buys time for a grappler like Hulk to walk in, and his assists cover approach attempts. Build the team around protecting his space.
Pick or Skip
Pick Star-Lord if you prefer controlling the pace from range and want a beginner-friendly zoner. Skip him if your style is aggressive rushdown — he needs teammates who fight up close.
How to Play
Star-Lord is your anchor for control: keep the fight at range, switch gun elements to cover angles, and punish people who try to jump in. If someone gets close, tag out instead of trying to fight your way out. Your team exists to give him space.
